Roche Harbor (One Way)

Roche Harbor is one of the most popular destinations on San Juan Island. With mellow rolling hills and ample shoulder, Roche Harbor Road is a favorite among island cyclists. Leaving Friday Harbor, riders will encounter a variety of island attractions. Just several miles into the ride there’s an opportunity to stop at San Juan Vineyards and enjoy walking around the beautiful grounds. Continuing on past Sportsman Lake the road dips into several scenic valleys and around forested bends, eventually arriving at Roche Harbor Village. The village is small but has a lot to offer. With two restaurants, a grocery store, and plenty of summertime art vendors, visitors can spend a lot of time exploring. Situated on a sloped bluff along the shoreline, Roche Harbor Village is also an excellent place to walk the docks and enjoy views across the harbor of Henry Island.
